Our Journey
One machine in 2010. Our own factory in 2026. Follow the road through the years that built Avani Design.
16 Years, One Thread
Every machine we added, every city we reached and every person who joined us has a year attached to it. This is that story — told exactly the way it happened.
01 · It Started With One Machine
We began with a single machine and a lot of belief, taking on saree job-work. No factory, no team — just one machine running honest work, day after day. Everything you see today grew out of that one machine.
02 · Two More Machines, First Customers
We added two more machines and stepped into the market to work directly with customers. Those first conversations taught us what buyers really want — and started the relationships that still carry us forward.
03 · Six Machines & Our First Partner
Three more machines took us to six on the floor, and Piyush Bhai joined us as a team member. This was the year a one-man workshop started becoming a company.
04 · Every Segment of Saree Work
Six more machines joined the floor and we widened our craft across saree segments — C-Pallu, cutting & pasting, daman work and more. Learning every process end to end is what made our quality dependable.
05 · From Sarees Into Garments
Two more machines and a bold turn: we started working in ladies' garments and men's ethnic wear for the first time. It was the decision that eventually defined who Avani Design is today.
06 · Mumbai & Ahmedabad Come Calling
Three more machines, and our work reached Mumbai and Ahmedabad for the first time. Vikash Bhai joined as a new team member to help us serve those markets properly.
07 · Going Pan-India
Four new machines powered our biggest expansion yet — Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur and beyond. The same year, Paresh Bhai and Mahesh Bhai joined us as our marketing team.
08 · Gujarat, Covered End to End
Mohit Bhai joined us as our sales person for Gujarat, and we began serving Rajkot, Morbi, Junagadh, Gandhidham, Kutch and more. Our own state became one of our strongest markets.
09 · Men's Ethnic Takes the Lead
Six more machines came in as we sharpened our focus on men's ethnic wear — Indo-Western sets and Koti Kurtas became core to what we make. This is where our identity really took shape.
10 · The Years That Tested Us
Through the pandemic, our team stood fully behind us. Their support is what carried the company through — and we still did good work in those years. We will never forget it.
11 · Twelve Machines for All of India
Demand was growing across the entire country, so we added twelve more machines to keep up with our customers. We also took part in the very first edition of Bharat Tex.
12 · Old Technology Out, High-Speed In
A turning point. We decided to move our floor from old technology to new — adding eight big high-speed machines and letting go of fifteen older, low-speed ones. Fewer machines, far more output.
13 · Building a Factory of Our Own
After fourteen years of working from rented floors, we planned our own factory premises of 50,000 sq. ft. — and started construction the very same year.
14 · More Machines, Higher Speed
Order books kept growing, and it was clear we needed more machines running the latest high-speed technology. We kept adding capacity to make sure no customer ever had to wait.
15 · The New Factory Comes Alive
Every machine has been shifted into our own building — and we are planning 18 more high-speed machines for the factory floor. The next chapter of Avani Design starts here.
...And the Road Goes On
From one machine to our own factory — every stop on this road was built by our team, our customers and our partners. Thank you for travelling it with us.
